Burglar Suspect being sought

Apparently at least one wayward teen from down the street. Burglarized a house and swam across Tucker Bayou before caught.

It confirmed my suspicions of "wearing a black cap" and his apparent intelligence level, as he never takes his black cap off. But I don't imagine he will have much of a choice now.

Coast not officially clear yet, as they say he may have had an accomplice.

Manhunt Underway near Point Washington (3-24-10)

The man is described as 5-feet, 9-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white pants and a black baseball cap, said a press release from the Walton County Sheriff?s Office.

Deputies have been searching for the man since 10:15 a.m. Deputies are searching on land and along the coast. They also have helicopters searching the area, Gurspan said.

A resident had a pressure washer stolen from his shed last night or early this morning. Last week my car was rifled through and only a pack of smokes was taken since I usually don't leave anything valuable in it. I reported it to the Sheriff Dept. Apparantly there has been a rash of thefts recently and maybe while patroling the deputies found someone.

Same kind of story with me.....mid-week last week someone got took 3 packs of gum from my car, but left behind CDs and about a $1 in change. My thought was that (1) the person must have really been Jonesing for a chew, (2) he/she obviously has no taste in music, and (3) either had money, or had no pockets.......

Now I lock up, day or night.

Update of that story is that the WCSO has made an arrest in the matter.

Didnt they just arrest 3 juveniles from around this area a few weeks ago for the same thing? Maybe they should keep them a little bit longer this time.

JodiFL...the way things are going with manhunts in Pt Washington, it may be a good idea to stock up on groceries and cigarettes for the next one. Oh, and beer...... Ammo too.................

When I saw the helicopter I went inside the house, locked the doors and immediately logged in to SoWal ... and there it was! Next two thoughts; how much coffee do I have, and man why didn't I buy that wine on sale at Publix the other day.
