That's not God's fault. We were the ones greedy and stupid enough to try and get oil they had safely put a mile below the ocean's surface and more than 2 miles under the earth.God! Just the dude I was looking for! Have I got a lot of questions for you...First off, what's up with this oil?

If God is singular, the appropriate term would be "it" .
p.s. I seriously doubt that God is safety conscious. All I have to think about is disease, famine, death, earthquakes, floods, forest fires, natural oil seepage, tornadoes, crib death, sunspots, meteors, tsunamis, mudslides, quicksand, sinkholes, i could be here all day.

Pronouns are optional. You can use the full name each time. You see it all the time in legal documents. Aren't you familiar with the Supreme Being's Last Will and Testament? Better known as God's Will?
