Thanks for coming. there is a calendar on the site and check the events forum. You can also click on my signature line to find all outdoor things to do. Lots of waterways to paddle, springs to swim in, and paths to hike. There's Big Kahuna's water park, and the track in Destin if you have kids to entertain. Have fun! and again, thanks for making the trip.
Hi soonertime, we're from Oklahoma too! Currently in the car headed back from a great week along 30a! We honestly enjoyed most of our days at the beach. The June grass was more of a nussiance than tarballs along the shoreline. We drove down to PCB to St Andrews State Park. It was pristine! The water was so clear- no June grass or tarballs. Also lots of shells. We enjoyed walking around Seaside & Rosemary beach. If you're concerned about the water, there's costal lakes, springs and bays to enjoy paddling & swimming in.
Thanks for the info and we are looking so forward to our trip!!! We canceld our hotel stay when the oil hit and had a good deal on the price and it was a beach front hotel, it's no longer available so we are still looking before we leave.
