Yeah, like Tom Cruise......Love that Pat Boone 'doo! I bet it took hours to get each hair individually aligned to perfection.I remember his elevator boots....he was one of the bigger "little people" you know?!

Notice that I said that I watched Sonny and Cher.....they were so bad that they were good. To be honest, I am/was probably as big a doof as Sonny was! And we had the same taste in women.....two legs.![]()

Two shows had me planted in front of my TV on Friday nights as a youngster. One was Johnny Quest at 7:30 and the Wild Wild West at 8:00.
Of course that was back before they moved primetime from 7:30 to 8:00 in 1971.
This site has all of the prime time schedules from back then: Classic TV Database | TV show info, theme songs, episode guides, cast, DVDs - Classic TV Database
Gilligan's Island at the top of my list, next Andy Griffith.....favorite character was Barney Fife. M*A*S*H and Hogan's Heroes were funny, but a little too mature for me, then. I love Leave It To Beaver, too. For late 70's, anyone like The Love Boat and Dallas?
On the detective shows, I always really liked the high speed chases in the parking garages.
And, drum roll, please......................
SOAP!
.That site is great, brings back many memories!
I've been streaming SOAP on Netflix, love it!
Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Three's Company, Welcome Back Kotter, Charlie's Angels, were all favorites... and I never missed an episode of Little House on the Prairie.
The Love Boat and Fantasy Island on Saturday nights...
It was always a good night when I could talk my mom into letting me stay up to watch M*A*S*H at 10PM, love that show.
All in the Family is another one I remember watching with my Dad, I need to see if I can stream that too...
Adventures in Paradise was only on TV for three years and we did not miss an episode. It starred Gardner MacKay.
The Adventures In Paradise TV show was a 60 minute action series on ABCabout an American who served in the Korean War and did not return to the United States after being discharged. As Captain of the schooner "Kon Tiki", he and his sidekicks transported passengers and freight throughout Asian waters. Each week they experienced new dangers and adventures!
