I'm trying to get back to my inner girlie or inner dame at my age. After working outside for a few years to get back on my feet, I'm finding it so hard to get back to dressing up and doing my makeup for work. I still often catch myself doing the ball cap and jeans when I get frustrated. I'm lucky that my publisher doesn't mind, but we often come to work dressed alike
T-shirt, jeans, ball cap. I want to looked more pulled together or girlie, but helping with my make over may be another thread.
So far, I've discovered the "smokey eye" look just makes me look like I'm hung over and forgot to take my makeup off before I went to bed. Most everything else just slides off my face in the heat or I look over-done and tarty. Any tried and true products you love?
Here is my list that I like so far.
Loreal double extend beauty tubes mascara (will not come off and give you raccoon eyes)
Nars blush in orgasm. I have the powder form and it always looks pretty natural, but not in summer to me. I'd like to try the multiple they sell in the stick form. Has anyone tried it?
Estee Lauder perfectionist cp: A skin cream that leaves my skin matted and smooth.
Clear gloss/ tinted lip balm or Clinque Angel red lipstick.
Also, who does real eyebrow shaping on 30a. Not just a usual wax that leaves you with the pencil thin look? I need some help with my arches.
