Is the Prez Racist?

Is the Prez Racist?

Glenn Beck has famously said about the President:

?This president has exposed himself as a guy, over and over and over again, who has a deep-seated hatred for white people, or the white culture, I don't know what it is.?

and

?This guy is, I believe, a racist."

Well, read this story from Memphis, TN:

Shirley Sherrod said Thursday that she 'will definitely sue' Andrew Breitbart over the video that falsely portrayed her as a racist. The lawsuit could be a landmark for the blogosphere.
Shirley Sherrod: Does she have a case against Andrew Breitbart? - CSMonitor.com

I am glad she is following through on this and will follow how it progresses with great interest.
What do you think are the pros and cons of her filing this suit? At this moment in time I'm pretty much just looking at it emotionally >> put the screws to him and do something to stop this kind of crap!

You are SO SO SO wrong. The TRUTH on NAACP, TEA PARTY, AND SHERROD!

The thought that any decision made by anybody in the Federal government would be based on anything that Glenn Beck says, just scares me half to death. The right-wing blogger who gave the edited tape to Fox news admitted he knew of the existence of the un-edited tape as early as March. He's a complete sleaze bag and if anything good comes out of this, it will be that he is shown to be the hate-monger he truly is.

Andrew Breitbart, that conservative blogger that you keep referring to, showed that edited clip for ONE reason. Do you know what that is? Obviously NOT! He showed it to point out a double standard. Now, when I lay out the facts, will you accept them IF they are accurate? Please be objective! Ok, here is what happened, without all of the "spin".

Americans who have aligned themselves with the tea party movement were being wrongly labeled "racists" by the NAACP along with the "main stream media." There have been constant calls to "repudiate the racists from your ranks." The NAACP and the "main stream media", both of whom are willing to do the dirty work for the democrat party, could not pass up this chance to make something negative stick to an otherwise very effective, loosely organized, millions of people who consider themselves "tea party" members. Now, what led the NAACP and the "MSM" to reach this conclusion that "tea baggers", as they are affectionately called, are racists?

First of all, remember when the tea party showed up outside of the capitol to protest the "health care" vote? Well apparently, two members of the congressional "black caucus", Congressmen Andre Carson, and John Lewis, along with other black caucus members, staged a walk through the middle of the "tea party" crowd the day before the healthcare bill passed. These men said they were threatened by the "violent mob" and the "N" word was said some 15 times. In actuality, with the VERY unpopular healthcare bill that was about to pass, these weak and pathetic legislators pulled the only card they could, the "RACE" card, and now they had their "November Strategy." Remember, the path that these gentlemen took, was out of their way, and most members of congress use the back/private entrance of the capitol, to enter the building. I guess they just wanted some fresh air, right? These members of the CBC did NOT expect the "new media" to challenge them. First, the aforementioned conservative blogger, Andrew Breitbart offered $100,000 of his own money, for ANY video/audio evidence of racism. What happened? Not a peep out of the CBC or the MSM. Well, the CBC was now in hiding, and the media seemed to look the other way, and NOT report that their (the CBC) allegations started to crumble. Breitbart did not rest their-he dug deeper. He found four videos, videos I can show you if you would like,- these videos start from the moment that Rep. Carson made the allegations of racism, and through video, along with audio, they prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the incident that Carson, et al claimed, was a manufactured LIE. This lie was supposed to be the "incident" that led to the destruction of the "Tea Party." These videos were on youtube shortly after the incident and could of been found by any reporter who gave a damn about journalistic integrity and the truthfulness of these VERY serious allegations. What is worse than being labeled a "racist"?

While the media ignored these revelations, the "Tea Party Federation" took the high road, sent a letter to the CBC, who was still in hiding, and they condemning all forms of racism, but they also asked the CBC to investigate the "Capitol Hill Incident." The of course ignored the request, and as Breitbart points out, "the CBC's silence was deafening." As if that was not embarrassing enough, three months later, the CBC decided to "double down" on the Tea Party/Racists Narrative and they had the nerve to use the "capitol hill" tea party "N word" non-incident, as their formal condemnation of the "Tea Party." Talk a bout a bunch of sociopaths; but negative publicity sounds like a good narrative for a party who has NOTHING positive to run on in November. The MSM ran with this story even though they knew it was one big lie. The Tea Party was guilty until proven innocent, straight out of Saul Alinksky's "Rules For Radicals". If you think I am kidding, google it. I think rules can apply here, but I will just pick TWO. First one is number 6- A good tactic is one that your people enjoy. And the second is number 13- Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. The MSM media was complicit and gave the CBC a platform to spew their lies, while refusing to air ANY exculpatory evidence. How can anyone, liberal or conservative, agree that this is fair?

This is where Breitbart, and the new media come into play. They will no longer allow the MSM to propagate hurtful and hateful lies in order to save the democratic party from the toxic choices it has made, nationalizing almost every industry, spending this country into near bankruptcy, giving more and more Americans handouts under the guise of "compassion", all the while being the hypocrites that they are by continuing both wars, keeping Gitmo open, all the while refusing to secure the border, refusing to uphold their OWN federal immigration laws, refusing to admit that we are fighting a "war on terror" to try and gain some cheap political points. Now they want to bring up RACE, and demand a zero tolerance of racism, the left, and the NAACP, has opened itself up for scrutiny.

HERE IS WHERE SHIRLEY SHERROD COMES INTO PLAY (2 videos)!!!

Shirley Sherrod, Georgia Director of Rural Development, spoke at the NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner in Georgia on March 27th, 2010. You can go to youtube and get the video or I may post it here. Anyway, here is how Breitbart explains Sherrod's remarks in the first video:

"In her meandering speech to what appears to be an all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the prism of race and class distinctions.
In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesnt do everything she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that he should get help from one of his own kind. She refers him to a white lawyer.
Sherrods racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another groups racial tolerance."

"The second video affirms the real reason there is tension between the Democratic Party and a growing mass of middle Americans and its not because of race."

"The NAACP which has transformed from a civil rights group to a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and social-justice politics, supports a new America that relies less on individualism, entrepreneurialism and American grit, but instead giddily embraces, the un-American notion of unaccountability and government dependence. Shirley Sherrod, a federal appointee who oversees over a billion dollars of federal funds, nearly begs black men and women into taking government jobs at USDA because they wont get fired."

FINAL ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSION:

The democrats have no substance, no accomplishments, and no class. They are far removed from the party of JFK. They have been co-opted and hijacked by George Soros, his international banker buddies, and the media is helping them. It is no wonder why FOX and Glenn Beck's ratings are so high. Everyone who makes fun of Beck, NEVER challenges his material-because they can't. This "Tea Party" movement is scaring the hell out of the "Establishment" because they have NO control over it, and the direction that it will lead us to. The days of two-party progressive rule is OVER! We are so much closer to a democracy today, the very thing that our "founding fathers" warned us about, and NOW is the time to stand up and say NO. We are a representative REPUBLIC, hopefully one who will soon have "TERM LIMITS" for all members of congress, no matter what your name is, what socialist you know, or what the color of your skin may be. It is time to close the border, support legal immigration, encourage our "illegal alien" friends who just want a better life, to gain "we the people's" trust by FOLLOWING OUR LAWS, realizing that what makes us so great is that we are a "free republic" with a constitution as our guide, which allows us to be a "nation of laws." I give the New York Times for retracting the report of the "Tea Party" using the "N" word. Now if only democrats could apologize and/or admit that what they did was wrong, maybe we could make progress in this country. Now we hear how Charlie Rangle and Maxine Waters are being targeted because they are black, right Rev. Al? Once again, a double standard because I do not recall Rev. Sharpton, Rev. Jackson, or the other "black role models", apologizing to the Duke Lacrosse team, EVEN AFTER all charges on the boys were dropped, when the black accuser had a history of lying and making false allegations. WHY NOT? MEDIA, WHERE ARE YOU?

And finally, "LAKE VIEW", sorry I had to put all of this out here before I got to my points but I am sick and tired of people changing arguments. Now, I think Ms. Sherrod is a borderline racist, even after hearing the WHOLE tape. Did you listen to all of it, and not just the clips? The matter of her being a racist can be debated and I can see points from both sides. What can't be debated is the fact that the NAACP members in attendence, in the beginning of that speech, when it appeared she was a racist, they did NOT know that she was making a point that we all need to get along and that race really did not matter. The members were chuckling, laughing, and snickering, when everyone agrees that it appears that she was indeed a racist. Mr. Breitbart did NOT call for her to be fired, nor did ANYONE at FoxNews, and he did NOT have to show the whole tape because his point was displaying the hypocrisy of the NAACP and their meritless letter written to the "Tea Party." As a matter of fact, FoxNews never even showed the video until Secretary Vilsack fired her. So it was the USDA, the White House, and the US governments job to investigate the WHOLE story, not that of FOX or Breitbart. And the "side note" of this story is that the NAACP, after originally condemning Sherrod's remarks, said publicly that they were "snookered" by FoxNews. Excuse me, but wasn't Ms. Sherrod speaking at an NAACP event? It is just much easier to blame FOX, the Tea Party, Breitbart, oh and lets not forget Bush(TWO YEARS LATER). Everyone gets blamed except every racial "situation" that comes up, there is a pattern of democrats, the administration, even the President himself, of jumping the gun. Did we all forget Professor Gates and how Barack Obama commented on a local police matter without having all of the facts. I think Obama said "the Cambridge police acted stupidly." Let's just blame everyone else for our problems, and not look back, or apologize, ever, even when it is proven that we are wrong-in fact, let's double down, and if we keep lying enough, maybe the dems, and the American people will believe their lives. How about we start using some common sense, admit when we are wrong, and learn from our mistakes. Oh wait, I forgot we are talking about Washington DC.

Are you a liberal? It would make sense since you are only using emotion to fuel your argument. What do you think about putting the screws to the Black Caucus and the NAACP? GET THE FACTS!!!! You sound like a partisan hack.

Hey Liberal Kathy

:roll::roll::roll::roll: Me thinks Glenn Beck is the pot calling the kettle black.:roll::roll::roll::roll:

The only problem with your argument is that Glenn Beck never called Shirley Sherrod a racist, or fired her. Ummm, that would be your peeps at the USDA and maybe the White House. But then again I am sure that the President would agree that Beck is just a "typical" white person!!

I will debate any liberal, anytime, anywhere, because when you have facts on your side, it makes life so much easier.

How many times have you actually watched Glenn Beck? Just curious...

Glenn Beck is now saying he's continuing the work of the Rev. Martin Luther King.

Hmmm, I wonder: when MLK opposed the Viet Nam war & was being wiretapped by J. Edgar Hoover & accused by many of being a communist... Do you think Glenn might have put MLK up on his chalkboard & drawn arrows to the suspicious folk around him & say "Now, I'm not saying he's definitely a communist...I just think these connections are "interesting;" you, should, of course, look at the facts & think & decide for yourself.

Glenn Beck does not deserve to even be named in the same sentence as Dr. King - IMO his agenda ia almost completely opposite.

Time does some wonderful things to people. Among those, is the change in evaluation of events and happenings that at one time in their life seemed against the interests of themselves and the majority. Martin Luther King falls in this category.
For those of you who can't stand Glenn Beck, I feel sorry for your lack of evaluation by a person who presents facts, actual video footage and surprisingly rational summation of what he is trying to present to the public. Yes, he is a showman. He uses that showmanship to help get his point across. As you have probably gathered by now, I do watch Glenn Beck. More unfortunately, I believe a lot of what he is saying is correct. This comes not because Beck says it but because my past shows it is so, at least for me. Each person must follow their own path. I just hope some in our nation wake up soon and take the right one.

Darren,

Very nice post. I always wondered the same thing. Liberals say they can't stand Glenn Beck but refuse to watch or debate his facts.

If what he's saying isn't true don't you think they would take him down? I just couldn't knowingly be on the wrong side of facts and go through life living the lies.
