I didn't get that, but I did get a sense that all these interesting characters were still alive and intact, and Hollywood has sometimes (often, maybe way too many times) made sequels to sucessful movies...

Think about it... Remember when he was getting off the plane and coming through the airport and everyone was looking at him. I think that all the people were brought in to try to bring him back Remember, how they would always ask him to come back to reality. Also, the kids were in the same clothes when he came home.

Dangitall, I may have to watch it again!I have multiple questions. I didn't understand how Fisher was thrown off the highrise, and the girl jumped off the highrise. According to the rules, wouldn't they go to limbo?

I guess I may need to see it again as well, because I was just hoping to be able to fall asleep and dream myself during the two hour experience. Just didn't get into it from the very beginning and had no motivation to try after that. :dunno:Am I the only one? Maybe it was all the shooting. That being said, "Getting back home" was definitely symbolic of reality I think.

I actually loved this movie and I normally hate action movies....

Another thought.... Remember, when he came in a spun the token once home. Everyone used that as a cue that is was over and he was home because it wobbled like it was going to fall. Well... That was not his token. It was his wife's and remember how he said several times in the movie to not touch someone elses token.

I also think the elevator scene was telling with the wife and kids on the top floor. I think that was some sort of representation that he was the one trying to get home. Love to see the next one and see what games were really being played with our heads.

I didn't enjoy all the bang 'em up, shoot 'em up either. How about that freight train scene? Yowsa!! BobbyJ, I am going to have to see it again because I know missed some key clues.....I didn't realize that top was his wife's. I thought it was his. I just remember him on the plane and taking (most likely) a heavy sedative, then him getting off the plane and looking at all of the people like he knew them, but didn't know how.

The deal with the token was it would always keep spinning if they were still in a dream. I originally thought because it wobbled the dream was over and then I remembered it was not his token so relying on it to keep spinning or wobbling was actually irrelevant. The concept behind the movie was amazing. I did not like the all the shooting either but think that it made sense with the insanity of being in the dreams. Like these shooters were just annoying nats. They really did not fit inthe movie except they were always the same people kind of like what happens in our dreams.

I've just convinced my date that it was all a dream; we've been discussing this movie for over a week and it seems the simple explanation is now making more sense, but he keeps venturing back to the tertiary level, etc.... I love it!! :D
