DD, I should be so lucky. I just can't seem to do anything right the last 2 weeks . She is so stressed about the shower and wedding that I think I want to get a hotel until the wedding. She has so much on her plate and not enough time to do it. I keep telling her to not take on so much but it is like talking to the wall.



I can't help it. It's a sickness. Right up there with buying cleaning products.
I have Christmas ribbon, birthday ribbon, Halloween ribbon, all occasion ribbon. And yes, I hate to admit it, but I do re-use ribbon.
Lord help me. :shock:

KISH--it's what we do. take on too much and then stress. i don't know about your wife, but i seem to work better under pressure. i might stress about it, but that's what seems to get me through.

The shower was really nice. A good time was had by all. I was there to do the set up / take down and work the kitchen. I was the hired help. But I enjoyed it. I think once the wedding is past, things will get back to normal. The wedding is on the 11th of September, our 34th Anniversary. It was our 25th the day of 9/11. Kind of bittersweet because we have a sad memory for that day.

Awwww...weddings are so joyous yet so crazy. It WILL all be better once you get past it. It's sweet that they're getting married on your anniversary. I imagine you will never forget your 25th. It was my step daughter's 21st birthday.
