I am sure she squashed a bug when she was five or something equally as trivial and we will be seeing it in the near future.

You are probably right because the Ricker's only shot is to tear down Alex's popularity or at least frame her in a negative light before many voters even figure out who she is.

Right here!
We've had a democrat in the Governor's office for 4 years now so it seems like the status quo to me.

I like the joke, but personally I'm not going to let this become a R vs. D thing for me. The federal government could crumble to the ground (and probably will under current leadership! :D) but if we have a strong governor who knows what he or she is doing, we'll all be ok. This is the most important race for me this fall. I'll give them both an open minded shot and decide later down the road once I hear more about how they will handle things.

Our attorney general spent lots of money stating otherwise. It has seriosuly tarnished Scott, and I don't think many Republicans or independents are too terribly enthusiastic to get behind him.

Scott spent about 30 million tarnishing our attorney general. Both would have been better off talking about the issues and remembering the 11th commandment.

You got to remember that all of Scott's problems were because he opposed Hillarycare.

I disagree. His problems were all about greed and lack of integrity; he simply used the health care system as an avenue to satisfy his greed--and in the process hurt thousands of vulnerable people. Anyone who is interested can find the court records to see for themselves.

Since the majority of this board is singly fixed on putting more big government, socialistic, tax and spenders in office, I would expect the majority to disagree. But once he disagreed and fought against Hillarycare, he, like most of the big hospitals and free market believers, became targets of a federal justice system gone wild. No different than travelgate.

Socialism, er I mean Medicare treated Scott well. Government funded healthcare is socialist, right?:dunno:

You must have read a different news story than I did. They seem to have treated HCA rather well. And HCA treated Scott well.

Unless you have now started believing in trickle down economics, why do you keep trying to blame Scott for the Clintons attacking him through the Federal Justice system because he objected to Hillarycare?

Also just saw where he got more applause than Sink at a conference, so there. He is obviously more qualified, the people have clapped.

I'm not blaming Scott for anything. He obviously is a savvy, if not tarnished, businessman. The fact is that he got crazy rich off of Medicare and Medicaid, two programs that would be considered 'socialist' by the litmus test applied by the Tea Party types. Look, this guy is unpalatable to moderate Republicans and Independents. He is going to lose, Alex Sink is going to win. I'll bet you a hot dog at that place in Defuniak Springs on this prediction.
