I'm still amazed how some people are so venomous toward Palin. They just can't control themselves.

Yet she has become a stronger voice.Wonder if she were a minority if she would recieve the same hate filled rhetoric the left shovels on a daily basis.Maybe the left needs to focus on more important things(unemployment,taxes,immigration reform,etc.) than attack a mother.

Oh, so she has found her true calling then...."mother"...yes, she always seems to go to a place where she can hide and be safe, and be protected, just like at Fox.

The format would have been much more interesting had they used two candidates running for the same seat. Using a kid with a grudge against his MIL to garnish ratings is rather pathetic.

There is some relevance . He is running for mayor of Wasilla, the post she held before becoming Governor (for two years).

Hide and be safe? Is Bill Ayers threatening to blow stuff/people up again because his side is losing? It's hard watching the party you support lose influence but getting violent isn't the answer.

I started this thread as if I was hanging out with folks like myself who are interested in media studies and politics in the media.

This stuff is my NASCAR, my reality TV, my Lost.

This isn't a Palin bashing thread as far as I am concerned. Just sharing observations and some commentary.
