Did something really stupid this morning: drove off with my cell phone on the trunk of my car, & alas, it is gone. It fell off between Pelican Circle (near Camp Creek Lake) & Balance in Seagrove between 9:05 and 9:20. Anyone see it riding on the back of my silver sedan or in the street? I've retraced my route, but it's similar to looking for a needle in a haystack!

Once I put my purse on the top of my car while loading up the car. I drove off with my purse on top of the car. I realized what I had done and retraced my path. Didin't find it. When I got home, I received a phone call from someone who saw the purse fall off the car and retrieved it. I drove to her home and offered her a reward. She refused, so I sent her some flowers.
It really gave me faith in the human race.
I hope that someone finds your phone, that it is undamaged, and that the person contacts you so that you are as lucky as I was.

My husband has lost 2 pair of his prescription glasses that way, one going from our house to work I think and one he lost along a highway coming back from his mom's down in Mississippi. Laid them on the trunk. Never to be found of course. Bad when you lose things like cell phones and glasses that way. Hopefully someone will call and say they have found your phone.
I did call it & was sent immediately to voice mail & left a message. AT&T told me to de-activate because they've had situations that different countries were called & the battery depleted. They won't know until today whether or not it was used yesterday. I think it got smashed, but I'd love to find the remains & retrieve the data. I have backed up the data but it's been months. My phone is my only calendar & address book!

Hope you find the info. I drove off with mine on the roof of the car in Montgomery back in April. I was hoping for the sim card, as well. Did find bits and pieces and was dodging cars on a 4 lane road but never found the important piece. Now I will be old and gray when my contract expires with AT&T..........oh, well.
Had it backed up, last time July, but was able to get things pretty much back to normal. Got talked into an Android by the Planet AT&T in Panama City (23rd St.) which I hated (faster but typing not as easy as IPhone) & then realized I couldn't take it back to an AT&T store because I bought it at Planet At&T who happened to be out of IPhone 3's & charged me $25. restocking. I won't make that mistake again either! 3 Lessons for me here: don't put anything on my trunk, keep IPhone backed up, go only to AT&T store.
Did you keep the Android, which one did you get?
