This is why people are so sick of politicians. Even with video Sink still tries to lie about breaking the rules. Guess she didn't know CNN had the audio recorded too...

Just admit it and move on. I don't think she intended to break the rules but she did read it and she did know who it was from. Why feel the need to continue lying about it?

Let me explain this in simple terms. An aide to Alex Sink made a mistake by texting her during the debate. Her make-up person made a further mistake by taking the text and presenting it to her. She made a mistake by looking at the text (probably assuming that it was an emergency, or her aide wouldn't be texting her), and that's about it. It was a stupid event in a very, very stupid debate. Get over it.
