Necessity is the Mother of invention and the p!ss poor performance of both parties gave rise to the Tea Party. The principles of our Founders as set forth in the Constitution had been so bastardized by both parties that the American spirit awoke and will assert itself to take back America.

Thanks to both of you. Maybe a little sanity here will relieve the crazies' minds.

Politics draws out the lurkers, no?

Great article! You should repost it in its own thread.

"An estimated 37 percent of all American voters now call themselves independents or unaffiliated voters, according to a recent study by the Pew Research Center. This is a bigger group than those who say they are Democrats (34 percent) or those who identify themselves as Republicans (28 percent). The percentage of voters who say the are independent is the largest in 70 years.

Disaffection with the American two-party political system is a big reason for the growing number of independent voters. Many of them say they have been driven from the Republican and Democratic parties by what they perceive as extremism and a failure to focus on the issues they consider most important. "

"Many independent voters are concerned about the spending and the approach toward government President Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress have taken, but they also weren't convinced things would improve under a Republican Congress."

They used the term first, if people can refer to me as a Nazi, Socialist, and libtard then I think it's fair play.

Your insistence of using a sexual term for them belies your ignorance of their cause and the blindness of your own.

Billionaires Buffett and Gates think higher taxes are good. They are not Tea Partiers.

It's only sexual if you feel that way, but what you and another consenting adult do in the privacy of you home is none of my business.

When I referenced billionaires I was leaning toward the evil ones like Murdoch.
