The really sad thing about this election is that if the GOP wins big, they will mistakenly take iit as some kind of 'mandate' for them and their policies rather than as a repudiation of a corrupt, votes-for-sale stye of politics. Of course, it would be pretty inconvenient for them to acknowledge that (pot, kettle, black?)

My guess is that in 2012 they'll be in the same boat as the Democrats are now.

Boyd has only 13%....I know over 700 families displaced from Sallie Mae feel a little better tonight.

I know plenty of people from Sallie Mae who voted for Boyd since they understood that they would have been jobless in about 6 months anyway. Sallie Mae used that to close one of their centers. They've been downsizing since the beginning of the century.
