I felt like I was watching the Osbournes on Ice. I really do not understand the fascination with her? because they think she is real people? (someone told me this) So are many other people, but it doesn't qualify them for holding a high political office and having so much influence.

I don't either, Mango; and "real" compared to what? artificial? It is beyond me -- especially why anyone would say she is a good role model for their daughters? Why?

Part of the problem stems from the republican leadership and punidts like Sean Hannity. They refuse to question her credentials / skills as a leader and treat her with kid gloves in interviews. This is not the person republicans want representing their party. If they don't start questioning her she may well end up doing just that.

I haven't watched the show but the commercials have some gotcha moments that look a little uncomfortable. Liberal, Conservative, Independent, Libertarian, whatever - It doesn't seem possible that a person with their own reality TV show would ever get close to being nominated in America.

You guys are under the impression that you are receiving negative rep because you hold and share opposing views on a "liberal website". As such, you are proud to wear the red chicklets as a badge of honor.

But here's the rub. There are many outspoken conservatives here. Examples include 30aShopper, Idlewind and Andy A. There are many who take unpopular viewpoints. My favorite example is when SHELLY predicted the bursting of the real estate bubble. No one wanted to hear it. But you know what- no red chickets. These Sowallers wear green badges next to their names.

Not that I have delusions that you care but I still feel the need to say it-

I can assure you that the reason you receive negative rep is because of the perceived manner in which you present your disagreement. Not because you are conservatives in the online land of liberals. You won't admit it but this is a very balanced board (politically speaking). Far more balanced than the physical makeup of conservative Walton County.

For the record, I have personally never given you negative rep points.
