This makes me remember some of the church craft fairs that we used to go to. Some crafters just have too much time! Unless, of course, you want a crocheted tissue box cover.

.

This reminds me of the other night when we went to Michael's and got stuck behind a woman at the checkout who had a cart and the basket on her hover round completely full. She also knew the entire staff by name and the delivery schedule for various crafts. Needless to say it took forevah!

Hmmm....the one I made is so purty I am considering making and selling them professionally! ;)

DO IT!! I wish you big returns for 2011 and beyond!!

Mine TOTALLY looks like a elementary school art project made out of construction paper!

And I am very proud. :D

P.S. You cannot cut felt with an exacto knife, so some of my edges are less than straight.

Well I just LOVE this post (& crafting tips) darlin'!

yes, my hand made ornaments used to look like 2nd or 3rd grade art projects but now they look at least 4th or 5th grade level!!! I'm getting good and will join Dougie in selling them professionally.:D we need to rent out a roadside stand somewhere on the side of 30A.

Let us know when Toots and Dougie are launching the public debut!

Well I'm FOILED. I wanted you to say "...crocheted toilet roll covers" to which I (and I'm sure many others) were primed with the perfect $hitty response...

Hmmm... I messed up the multiple quote feature somehow.

Cheers ANY way!!

I'm totally behind manifestation schedule. I'm tracking behind deadline by a coupla days... despite the visionary inspiration that instantly occurred upon receipt of my "secret sowaller".

Oi-Vey. Begging advance forgiveness.

My ornamaker left a cute little package on my doorstep, is there a rule about when we can open them?

Mine is going in the mail tomorrow, just finishing the final touches! So funn... Although it's kinda heavy, I don't think it's going to work very well as an ornament, unless my recipient has a very sturdy spot on his/her tree!

OPEN IT NOW!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! I opened it... OMG!!!

:love::love::love: I LOVE IT! :love::love::love:

OK, first of all, my ornamaker was Teresa, which is awesome because we are soul-sisters and it's clear how much love she put into the whole thing... ornament(s), box, card, nuts, chocolates, bells and sparklies and all!

When I saw the actual ornament, I gasped and then I laughed and cried at the same time... she made an amazing mini reproduction of my Artstrings violin - what a delightful surprise! Bravo Tootsie!
I have no idea how you made it look so good on such a small scale, you must have used tweezers and a magnifying glass!

And, bonus - she included a couple other ornaments, including a beautiful silver snowflake frame with a photo of Daisy, so cute!

If I don't stop now, I will totally OD on smilies and exclamation points, so I am going to just let the photos speak for themselves. Toots, you made my day, I love you!
