Yep, why anyone would let the volleyball biatch anywhere near a county board is beyond me.

The speed bump is where the bike path runs out of room on the beach side of 30a and crosses over to the north side. It's actually a crosswalk for the bike path as well as a speed bump.
If there is a bump here where the multi-use path crosses 30-A at the old Wheelhouse, I'd say that the bump needs to be raised a bit there. As someone who runs and (leisurely) rides a bike on the multi-use path, I've learned to always YIELD to motorists when making this crossing since about 50% of the motorists don't see or otherwise obey the Yield signs posted for them. I enjoy being able to run, ride a bike, walk, pick up and hold my daughter, etc., and getting hit be a car at that crossing would probably restrict those abilities.
I understand your frustration, I've always stopped there for runners, walkers, cyclists, etc. It never ceases to amaze me when someone leans on their horn behind me.
If a speed bump is warranted where the bike path crosses from north of 30A to south near the old Wheelhouse, there needs to be a speed bump in the eastbound lane of 30A at the intersection of Eastern Lake Road. The bike path crosses Eastern Lake Road there, and it is impossible to tell if the eastbound traffic is going to veer left on 30A or take Eastern Lake Road. We have friends who live full-time near that intersection, and they say you can't believe how many times they've seen drivers think that 30A goes straight there when it actually veers left. They have seen several vehicles flip over there. I hate more signs, but maybe there should be a sign there that warns people on the bike path to not assume that someone heading east on 30A is staying on 30A -- they might be heading down Eastern Lake Road. There really needs a speed bump there to slow drivers down who roll from 30A to Eastern Lake Road at high speeds due to the bike path crossing there. There also needs to be a sign that shows that 30A curves left BEFORE the intersection, not after it (because then it's too late).

You must be the only one because I never see anyone give a turn signal there.CONCUR, in whole. We stay on Eastern Lake Road most of the time, and drive, run and bike that intersection several times a day when in the area. When biking or running, I've learned to always just come to a complete stop and wait till all vehicles have passed the bend in the road (30-A). When driving on to Eastern Lake Rd from 30-A, I turn on my right turn signal to let everyone else know where I'm going. This is based on a similar intersection where I grew up that had a street sing saying to use right turn signal if veering to the right side-road instead of continuing on the thoroughfare.
