Imediately following this rally Rick Perry will host a "Whites Only" event, crosses and gasoline will be provided. People of false color are not welcome.
That would certainly be his right if he so chooses. Have you ever heard of the 1st Amendment? But comparing Christians to racists is really going too far. Much like comparing atheists to communists.
I'm sure it will soon come out as to who is paying for the promotion, facility and all. If it is the taxpayers of TX, as it appears to be, then I do not want exclusions on what kind of people are welcome to speak/pray.

If the taxpayers are paying then I agree with you. In fact, the taxpayers should not be paying for rallies of any kind, period. Rallies are not a legitimate function of government at any level.
This is the opposite of what our country needs.
We need to be inclusive and tolerant, not exclusive and condemning those who are different.
We need to focus on our economic and fiscal problems, not be distracted by religious interference and social agendas.
Our founding fathers called for separation of church and state for a reason.

This is a private affair sponsored by a private concern. If they want to have a rally it is their business. The 1st Amendment grants all of us the right to assemble, to say what we want and hold any religious belief that we want.

He shalt not be allowed to mention the word “God” while in politics or we shall smite him! For shame for shame! Bring down the zealot! (and someone please remember to bring that wonderful arugula salad we had at the last rally, it was tasty!)
