We can just agree to disagree. What stakes can be higher than a country divided? There is an intolerate tone throughout this thread on both sides of the issue? There is not one person on this earth that is perfect and therefore the very nature of our species requires compromise and tolerance of each other. Religion does not even make an attempt at compromise and tolerance. Politics is becoming a platform for divisiveness. There is too much money and power at stake instead and not idealology. Our very nature is to attack those that believe something different. Maybe if Rick Perry followed the exclusive prayer service with a group hug for all those that oppose him then I would be more inclined to believe his sincerity at being christian.
