I predict some day in America drones will attack Americans from the skies. I predict that humans all over the world will eventually live in fear of the skies. In countries with repressive regimes dissent will be swiftly crushed. This technology will be shared and it will proliferate and be perfected to maximize control. This is a very sad development for Humanity and freedom.

It will be interesting to see if restrictions are put in place after a drone or 2 crashes and kills people.

If you're afraid of drones now, wait until they are the size of birds or smaller but carry an even bigger punch. Or maybe they are already over your head. :ninja:

Big Brother -- whether wearing the uniform of the federal government or corporate power (to the extent there's any difference) -- will be watching us & controlling us through the skies, through various media, the internet and in ways that haven't been invented yet.

If you are interested in learning some of the crazy things big bro doesn't want you to know check out http://www.infowars.com/ or www.drudgereport.com/ There is also always conflicting reports with what our news feeds us if you go to other countries news sites. There is a lot more going on then the average person pays attention to.

You are already under surveillance whether you know it or not. Most people are just to busy believing what they are "supposed to" to see what is right in their faces. The government likes to use distractions, because they do work. Anyone else notice how hard they tried to distract us from the nuclear disaster over a year ago? In this day ignorance is bliss because the real world is a scary place.

I don't think these are a good idea from a safety standpoint. The skies are already crowded enough with planes, birds, balloons, and debris. The government has plenty of ways to spy on us already.

What is the purpose of the drone? Does it carry weapons? I can see the pros and cons of a drone as mentioned. Satelites already have our numbers, so what is the problem with a drone. too crowded up there? I am more concerned with parasailers, jet skiers and boat collisions. Highway 98 is dangerous and 30A on the East end can be a parking lot during the season. Too many cars.

I just swatted a deer fly and it went "klank"... is that a bad sign?

If you're worried about drones, you're seriously living in the wrong place down here.

Do you see them regularly? I thought I spotted one two or three weeks back. Clear night, lots of high altitude planes circling for a few hours (Seagrove), I saw a small plane flying low along the beach and trailing the plane was a strobing smaller object. I know, UFO until proven otherwise, but I figured it might have been a drone. Smaller object made no noise.
