Best moderately priced steak dinner?

It's not moderately-priced, but Seagar's has the best steak in town. Period.

Last fall we went to a fund raiser at Seagar's and I will agree with you. There were about 150 people there, we were served four courses of which one was a filet. All courses were amazing and for a fund raiser with that many people. I am not a filet person but it was to die for. I hear Johnny Earles is there so things can only get better than they were. Wish his Ceasar Salad would go on the menu....I would splurge! If only Criolla's would come back.

It's not moderately-priced, but Seagar's has the best steak in town. Period.

The best steak is a thick NY strip purchased at a local grocery store. Marinate or season while the grill is getting ready, then sear to medium rare and serve with red wine, grilled vegetables or salad, and a view of a sowal sunset.
Can't be beat for price, flavor, or ambiance!

I couldn't agree with you more. Although I might substitute rib eye for NY strip.

Is segars serving with a gold nugget. Wow a 24 ounce porterhouse is ala cart $65. with a salad and potatoe and glass of wine easy $100.

OK, I have another idea that might be seen as reasonable. Cafe Thirty A. Two options: 1) But one musteat in the bar, which is very nice and the bartenders are great. If you go on Tuesday or Thursdays they have $5 martini's allnight. The bar menu has a Grilled 8 oz. NY Strip, with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Natural Jus. All for $22 and it isgood every day all evening. OK, you don’tlike sitting in a nice bar area. Go for Option 2: Go between 5:00PM and 6:00PM and get the BOGO…geta grilled New York Strip, it’s huge and served with varied sides depending on theday and it would cost $16.50 per person…$33 for two. So IMHO, this is the beststeak and one of the best atmospheres on 30A

McGuires...I miss that place. I didn't get to go there on my last trip but I will make it a point the next time I am in town.
