Being new and reading some of the posts from a few years back I can say it was a "kinder, gentler Forum". Now if you post ornament that implies religion and that's when the wheels fall off. That would be a very cool tradition to continue. How about a local White Elephant at Red Bar or Local Catch?

we didn't do a lot of "religious" stuff though we did celebrate Christmas with an ornament exchange - ornaments were usually designed around a beach theme, or something fun about that person... but we did have lots of online drinking, smoking & cussing parties back then!

not that there's anything wrong with religion.... but everyone always respected that topic pretty well. They still do as far as I know. Politics, however.... always heated.

Wow- one of my favorite memories from this forum is reading the posts and seeing the pictures of the ornament exchange. It was so cool and I wish I had participated back in the day. Was it really that long ago?
