I do consider myself religious. I think it is morally right to vote for the better candidate, rather than feel privately, morally pure. There has never been a morally pure politician ever, and for you to suddenly get "religious" at this juncture seems shallow. I'm sure a lot of people didn't vote when Hitler was elected. To follow your suddenly pure moral compass, I suppose you should be buying a ticket to Denmark or plotting the next revolution.

try again, drill down a little deeper....the morally pure thing is just passive aggressive drafting on your e-buddy

If you feel the Allepo moment was what made you decide against Governor Johnson, I am curious what your tipping point was for Mr Trump and Ms Clinton?
Clinton was her legacy, her body of work...Trump was his bomb throwing and lack of discipline, his repetitive use of a very shallow loop of verbiage. He can fan the flames, but there is no depth.

What you're suggesting makes sense only if your non-action can effectively communicate your dissatisfaction and effect positive change for the future. Like if you helped contribute to extremely low voter turnout and people got the message. Otherwise it's an empty, meaningless non-gesture. One of two people is going to be elected president, of that we are 100% certain. It's also 100% certain that you will have no more effect on the outcome than a dead man. Your decision sounds purposeless, meaningless, and all about your personal feelings and maintenance of your moral purity. Some people insist that an individual's perceived state of the nation will be identical regardless of which of the two candidates is elected. I agree, that's 100% true if you're in a ******* coma.

[Edit] P.S. At least you're not voting for Trump
40 percent of the population that could vote don't bother

This is starting to seem as pointless and meaningless as Bob's voting decision.

But his voting choice makes him feel good. I guess that's fine with him. Feck the Country.
