You started a thread called Opinion and Discussion. It’s important to know about the “thought leaders” who are driving the discussion on the Covid19 situation, correct?

I realize it is uncomfortable and frustrating when the argument certain groups has used for decades is employed to defend an individual not wanting to have a vaccine injected into themselves. A person’s body, man or woman, is sovereign. End of......

My posts are, and will be, full of facts and links, so people reading them can make informed decisions for themselves. My posts are relevant for sure.
It is with the greatest respect that I say please keep your potentially disease ridden Petri dish of a body away from the rest of us. If you lived alone it would be fine, but you live in society so act accordingly. Again, I posted this with the utmost respect for your opinion because I’m the most respectful of people in regards to being bigly respectful.

Respectfully yours,

poppaj

Now let’s both respectfully exit this thread.

This thread could be a good place to vent fears and frustrations and joys. But no need to be assholes.

And I am being respectful to you and everyone here. You calling me a “disease ridden Petri Dish of a body” is respectful??? So much for no name calling. And no, I don’t expect Teresa to call you out like she did for my posts.

What have I posted that is not factual and relevant to this thread? Uncomfortable for you, yes.

Facts will be posted that are relevant. Self quarantine yourself from this thread.

Sorry but you are sharing some off the wall and off topic conspiracies and ideology. Not helpful to today's events. No one said you have to have a vaccine.

But if these are your questions and concerns then that's fine. Perhaps you can start a new discussion to address your concerns?

Again, your thread is Opinion and Discussion. My factual posts ARE helpful to readers that choose to investigate and figure out things for themselves. Make and informed decision , The Censor/Control the Narrative Mob likes to pounce on people who don’t share their views.

They just run counter to your ideologies perhaps?

Why are you trying to shut down the discussion Teresa?

How to Protect Your Family from Covid-19

Excellent video advice from NYC Pulmonologist on the front line of the Covid-19 fight. Long video, but really good common sense approach with facts, not fear:

For those that don't like watching, it boils down to:

1) Never touch your face -- eyes, nose, mouth, anything.
2) Wash your hands
3) Wear a mask -- this is mainly NOT to prevent transmission by people breathing on you, because that's not a real transmission vector. The real reason for a mask is to remind you of rule #1 -- don't touch your face, ever. You don't need an N95 mask. You could use a homemade one or even a bandana, because the primary reason for it is to remind yourself not to touch your own face.

I realize this is #1 rule, but very very difficult for me. My nose itches a lot. My eyes too. I’m not whining, though. I actual had an idea for a partial solution for this problem. Someone should make “proximity bracelets” (and a necklace) so that when your hands reflexively get near your face (the necklace), lights would flash and maybe some annoying buzzer. Also, when you get within 6’ of another person, the necklace would also flash and make an annoying sound. If we are going to be at this for many months to come, it seems helpful. Also, it lets you know what people are really taking this seriously.

No one is trying to shut down discussion.

Personally I don't appreciate conspiracy. That is just my preference for thoughtful and meaningful discussion. You're right we can't all have the same expectations or opinions. It would be a boring world if we did.

I didn't call out anyone. I only responded to your defensive comments. We all attempt being respectful and responsible for our own words here.

Has there been an emergency order for mandatory vaccinations? I missed it

Carry on.
