Yes I agree. The Trump machine is going to turn radicalization into a business. Hitler did the same thing because you need a lot of money to rule the world. While typing this I am also hoping we are all wrong about the references to Hitler. Why, because it means that America the Beautiful could be turned upside down before this is over.
Biden has his hands full for sure and needs us all to pay attention and cooperate with his plan. His plan will have elements of strength and reconstruction. I have hope that Biden and Harris will get the needed balance in governing right and they have my full support. During and after the War between the States the plan of strength and reconstruction had serious flaws. Yes I am getting ahead of myself but I have seen a lot of anger and hatred and division. During the political coup this past week it better wake us all up to why this is happening. We are still very divided. In this forum I doubt we have convinced one person to change their allegiance. In my family nothing has changed. Millions of American citizens distrust our political system and now many have been radicalized by Donald Trump. There will be others like Ted Cruz pushing this radicalization. If people like my family and others on this forum are not able to trust politicians and government officials this is not over.
Somehow Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the people they surround themselves with will have to clear the mine field of anger, hatred and distrust. I sense that it is going to be more difficult than any of us could imagine. Seeds have been planted. The seeds are weeds of pure hatred. Each and every one of us have to ask ourselves where these seeds came from. The seeds were here before Donald Trump and all he had to do is give them a little fertilizer. Trump is very good at fertilizer spreading rhetoric. Ted Cruz is pretty good at it too and of course there are many others. Politicians and government officials have become disconnected from their constituents. When I toured the Capitol with my daughters highschool class about 10 years ago I saw a lot of government excess. We waited for 3 hours for a Florida representative to talk to our group because it was during his lunch time. One of my daughters class mates asked him "what took you so long to talk to us?" He answered "I was at lunch". The classmate answered "we only get 45 minutes for lunch". While we were waiting in the cold (it was January) outside we noticed about 25 or more black limosines empty but the cars were all running. We asked someone why the cars were running and just parked. The answer was shocking to the school kids and us adults. The cars were running so the members of congress would not have to get into a cold vehicle. So my point is that there are a lot of seeds. Some of them are good seeds or issues that need to be addressed. I have no expectation that Joe Biden can fix all of this without we the people being demanding, civil, reasonable, patient and able to listen to each other...

It didn't look like "guarded walls" from the inside. In the video I saw, the "headquarters tent" looked like a wedding reception with party music, big screen TV's and lots of celebration. I wonder if Robert E. Lee did it that way.
