Well, darn it...with all the safety protocols my family has adopted and after 2+ years, my husband brought Covid home 2 weeks ago now. He works outside but when we had those recent heavy rains, he was inside with a bunch of unvaccinated, unmasked young guys. Husband says he was wearing a mask, but prolly not for lunch! He had a sore throat and mild cough but insisted it was NOT covid!!? How did he know this? Because he is a stubborn male! LOL! He tested first day - Neg...he tested 3rd day - Neg. We isolated from each other in the house finally. 5th day - he tested POS at Pt. Washington Clinic. Even after sitting next to him while he was coughing for 4 days, I only got a mild headache. I tested a few times and was always Neg. Go Booster is all I can say! The worst part was having to cook all his meals for 2 weeks to keep him isolated!! (he was sick for 10 days and tested Neg after 12 days.) I'm just glad I also didn't get sick and was able to isolate from my elderly parent to keep her safe. That has always been my main priority.
