If we are going to use our common sense I think you will agree that Trump makes a lot of mistakes and has not been held accountable for those mistakes. Accountability is not having a gang of lawyers fight your battles. You are okay with a man being above the law but there is NO common sense in that at all. You and I will be held accountable for our actions but trump lives a world where money and power allows you to "shoot someone in the street and get away with it". Trump is the king of corruption in terms of accountability. I know you know that trump is not "clean as a whistle". Not many people are clean as a whistle but the difference is most of us will be held accountable...even Joe Biden our President. I think you may have confused Old Joe with his son, Hunter who has not shown much accountability either. I believe if Hunter has broken as many laws as trump he will be held accountable. Ask yourself this question if hunter runs for President would you vote for him yet you would vote for trump. I hope your common sense is not corrupted by any man who has never been held accountable...
I never understood the Hunter obsession. I don't know if has has ever set foot inside the Whitehouse since Biden became President.

I have pondered that also. I believe he has or will use his knowledge as blackmail in a failed attempt to prevent being indicted by the DOJ.
This SOB would sell out the entire country to save his own fat ass.

It does give me a strong incentive to reevaluate my views on the death penalty. I think he would sell out the country purely out of petty vindictiveness.

I think he HAS sold out the country. I think the damage is done. I think all the hesitation by the DOJ is concern about losing any more good leads to the multiple possible destinations of the documents. Also, if his "spillage" can be directly linked to our human intelligence assets being killed, then he is guilty of negligent homicide.

Republicans constantly put themselves in a tough spot by having to sort through trump’s daily contradictory blizzard of bullshit excuses to pick something they can use as a defense without looking like a tool in his next rant. Must be exhausting.
Lindsey has just given up and swallowed the diaper.

Yeah, and the thing is, you know we are going to find out he's not being up front about what's going on. That just points to the fact that going forward, the man absolutely cannot be trusted and needs to be permanently isolated from society. They should lock him up and take away his Secret Service protection, so that they don't have to spend time in the prison with him. Let him have all the hamberders and ketchup that he wants.

Trump's official argument right now is literally if a suspect looked at this photo of evidence seized in their residence and said: "I DID NOT STACK THE MONEY ON THE TABLE LIKE THAT AND PUT MY GUN ON TOP OF MY DRUGS!"

'There seems to be confusion as to the 'picture' where documents were sloppily thrown on the floor and then released photographically for the world to see, as if that’s what the FBI found when they broke into my home. Wrong! They took them out of cartons and spread them around on the carpet, making it look like a big 'find' for them. They dropped them, not me — Very deceiving … And remember, we could have NO representative, including lawyers, present during the Raid. They were told to wait outside.'" - trump

So... he's admitting that he had possession of them. (That's a felony.) And he's corroborating it by saying he knew that, because he kept them neatly in boxes.
