I hate to break it to you, but you are a bundle of emotion. And no, presidents are not allowed to take government property home with them. Even if those documents are unclassified, his actions are theft at the very least. Even documents that are unclassified may still be sensitive. If they were top secret and trump waved his wand to declassify them, chances are it was an act of unconscionable irresponsibilty. Seeing as he stole the documents and never told anyone, the government is quite rightfully gravely concerned. They would most likely want to reclassify them, which they can do.

Before you respond Lardman this response is posted by someone who has actually handled, had authorization and training with top secret and classified documents. In other words he speaks from experience and not talking points so maybe stop eating you're own foot.

You are starting to babble a little bit, so let me clarify. President's terms end when the next president is sworn in. Ex-presidents do not get to de-classify anything when they are ex-presidents. Also, nobody, not Trump, not Elvis, nor Jesus, can de-classify anything without going through the legal process of de-classifying documents. For somebody who isn't defending Trump, it sounds like you have been really rooting for him to behave like a dictator. But, he's just a dick.
As per written documents (google it) Trump declassified ALL of the paperwork he would take with him when he would go to Florida. 2 days before he left office he declassified ALL of the documents he was taking. That being said did he probably take stuff he shouldn't have? I would say yes, as have every one of his predecessors for the last 6 elections. Lets also not overlook the fact that I, personally, cannot see a scenario where Trump himself was loading boxes to take when he left the White House. I'm sure staffers loaded up the boxes and took them out but yall act like Trump handpicked what he left with. No one said he declassified them after his term, that would be silly talk. As far as being a dick there are lots of them around

LB, wrong again. I couldn't care less about any of it because I know none of us on Sowal makes 1 bit of difference in the grand scheme but I do love coming on here and seeing you guys all knotted up about someone that doesn't even know your alive. If he stole anything why isn't he in jail? Did either of the clintons go to jail when they took furniture? How about the documents Obama took? Lets at least be semi fair in are talking. I could never see the Donald being irresponsible (sarcasm)

There doesn’t seem to be any record of this de-classification you said happened. Let’s see some proof. Furthermore, there is signed statement from Trump’s lawyer that they returned ALL the documents in June. But, then the search found well over 200 pages of classified documents at Mara Lago, and some were found in his desk. So, if all these documents were de-classified, Trump only needs to show the written proof that they were declassified. Surely the US government has a documented procedure for de-classifying documents. Awaiting your dick-tated talking points from the Trump Defenders League.

It's PD. If this guy has actually handled classified documents then he knows what I'm saying is 100% accurate. If I am wrong at all please let me know, no foot eating here. FYI all of the info you guys are disputing is easy to look up, why not do that first? Just my opinion, when we meeting up PD?

If we are going to use our common sense I think you will agree that Trump makes a lot of mistakes and has not been held accountable for those mistakes. Accountability is not having a gang of lawyers fight your battles. You are okay with a man being above the law but there is NO common sense in that at all. You and I will be held accountable for our actions but trump lives a world where money and power allows you to "shoot someone in the street and get away with it". Trump is the king of corruption in terms of accountability. I know you know that trump is not "clean as a whistle". Not many people are clean as a whistle but the difference is most of us will be held accountable...even Joe Biden our President. I think you may have confused Old Joe with his son, Hunter who has not shown much accountability either. I believe if Hunter has broken as many laws as trump he will be held accountable. Ask yourself this question if hunter runs for President would you vote for him yet you would vote for trump. I hope your common sense is not corrupted by any man who has never been held accountable...
At last someone that wants to communicate like an adult. Yes Trump makes a lot of mistakes. Which mistakes do you feel require what level of accountability? Are you actually telling me what I am OK with? Did Trump shoot someone? When you say 'Trump is the king of corruption in terms of accountability' I'm not really sure what you mean. I agree Trump is not as clean as a whistle, no one I know is. Has Biden been held to account for some of his misdoings? I agree Hunter is above the law. In my opinion, I would say Hunter has broken a ton more laws then Trump. In case you actually cared let me tell you why people like Trump. It is because he is not part of the system, half this country thinks its silly to believe that the politicians that got us into the messes we are in are going to get us out of them. Its really just that simple. FYI we are surrounded by tons of people that have never had to face the music for their misdeeds. Thank you for being civil
