Bob if you are asking seriously I will always answer to the best of my ability.
A 'fair' tax system would be if everyone paid the same percentage of their income (lets say 10% or whatever). I'm also not against a tiered system but no matter what it will bend in the favor of whomever is writing / voting on the policy, this is just human nature. As far as fiscal responsibility we have to (from both sides) cut out all the pork they try to tie to bills we need. We also need to cut out all of the extras that we throw out that don't really help us. We are beyond broke so we need to tighten up our belts till we dig out.
I am fairly ridged as far as my desire to follow the constitution. Thats why I do not have a problem with the SCOTUS correcting the past wrong on abortion. On a personal level I do not care if anyone gets an abortion or not
Lou, There are numerous reasons why you can not have a flat tax. The higher up the income level the more you have tax advantages and loop holes. This is common sense. Wealthier people/corporations should be taxed at higher rates because of this access to legislators, lawyers and lobbyist helping pass laws that allow for those tax advantages. Listen I could go on but you know all this and not really interested to find bipartisan ways to have better fiscal responsibility. I have no idea what you really mean by extras. Extras for disaster relief, healthcare, social security, medicare, medicaid etc? Do you think only the leftist are fiscally irresponsible? I voted for Bush who paid trillions for corporate welfare. Was that fiscally responsible. Trump used bankruptcy court over and over. Do you think that was fiscally responsible. Do you want the government to tell you what you can do with your body and what you can not do or just women? Boy this would take a while but I am out of time for this nonsense.

I must not be as smart as you, how did you prove my hypocrisy? Please spell it out because I can't find it. Whose is blaming the wrong people, who is to blame? and for what problems?

Personally I do not have any issues with judging the people in my life. I'm not judging them on legal guilt or eternal damnation, I think your allowed to do that.
If you have been in business for 27 years then you are smart enough to see the hypocrisy but I get it. Look the other way works for some people. I will admit that I have to work at not being a hypocrite and I still fail every once in a while :)

How does meeting in person do anything but allow you to get physical? You are the worst kind of human being. You can't defend your positions so you attack. Call it what you want, but your ultimate argument is that you can kick someone's ass so you're right.

Take you're own advice and if you don't like it leave.
Wrong again, I would never start a physical altercation with anyone, thats not the way I roll. I have found that sometimes you need to get in front of people to stop them from running their mouths all loose. I can defend any and all of my positions because if I cannot do so I will change where I am on an issue. If I hear an argument here that proves my position wrong I change my thought process, it has happened on many occasions.

How would not having a fair (percentage based ) tax system be common sense? If everyone paid the same percentage there won't be tax advantages or loopholes. Am I right in reading that you think the wealthier / corp's should pay more because they have access to legislator's, lawyers, and lobbyists? Isn't this the problem?
This is the crap that pisses me off, how can you state that I am not interested in finding ways to be fiscally responsible? How can an intelligent person say this? I do not consider the the items you have listed as 'extras'. The extras I'm talking about are things like sex education for Ethiopia prostitutes, the social media war on tanning beds, subsidizing the airport on Martha's Vineyard, taxpayers paying private student debt, Pelosi's park, etc. We are all in charge of our personal finances and those decisions have consequences, our government works in the same way on a larger scale except the people that mess up only pay a miniscule amount of the debt.

I never said nor do I think our fiscal missteps are just from the left. I don't really care about Trump declaring bankruptcy.

I see you shifted gears to the abortion topic. I think the SCOTUS corrected a past wrong by given the power back to the states as the constitution intended. If the people want it to amend the constitution to include abortion that is another topic but this one is pretty straight forward once you remove the emotion. Did anyone take away any womans rights?

Make sure your blaming the right person for the nonsense

I don't think either one of us know what you are talking about. I have asked you a very simple question on multiple occasions. What hypocrisy? Who is looking what other way for whom? Use the common sense you keep preaching about and make your point. I would honestly like to know what you mean

You want a flat tax for both a person making minimum wage and a CEO making millions. No I disagree. It's nonsense. Now if you want to get rid of all those loop holes I would agree.

Why do you care about spending money on education but it is okay to bail out corporations?

Student loan debt is a hard one for me. I would agree but only when the rich have no loop holes.

I have no idea about Pelosi's Park. I see many parks named after people.

If you were a contractor for Trump and he filed bankruptcy you might care.

Do you want the Federal Government telling you what you can do and not do with your body? It is a woman's right to choose. It is impossible with a divided legislature to amend the Constitution thus we need Federal protections for a woman's right to choose.

You know that Government operates a whole lot different than personal finances and has a much greater responsibility to protect ALL citizens. I would agree that transparency is vital.

I am 100% for getting rid of all loopholes. A flat tax is the only 'fair' way to do it. Any other way someone is getting hosed and its usually the middle

To your second point, why do you respond like this? Who said I'm against spending money on education? or that I think its OK to bail out corporations? I am 100% against corporate bailouts, I think business's need to run on their own steam. If they fail a better version will always take their place. I have no issue with paying for education but I do have an issue with paying for individual loans that other people took out with taxpayer funds

We agree on your third point

On your forth point just google Presidio, it is a pet project of Nancy Pelosi

My father was a contractor in AC when Trump declared bankruptcy but he made it out better then most. I can tell you there are 2 sides to this coin as well. Let me know if you want me to expand.

To your sixth point, short answer NO. Women still have all of the same rights depending on the states they live in. They may need to drive across state lies to get an abortion. Do you agree that the SCOTUS made their ruling in line with the constitution? It seems pretty black and white to me. We can always amend the constitution but that is what would have to be done.

Yes the government is larger but I hope you get my point that fiscal responsibility is fiscal responsibility. We agree on transparency

I know exactly what it is. You say I'm a hypocrite, I asked how and you keep saying I told you so. I'm not sure I even care anymore, I know I live right and I know I treat people as I should. I know I'll sleep like a baby tonight if you don't care to get your point across. Thx either way

The MAGA SCOTUS reinterpreted the 14th Amendment, which for decades guaranteed a woman the privacy to make personal decisions regarding bodily autonomy. The rights of the individual were turned over to the states where they absolutely do not belong.
