Were there brief moments of tension, yes, but if 50k people wanted to do harm the capital wouldn't be there anymore. Just look at what a few hundred leftists did all summer of 2020. There was literally nothing at stake, nothing. There is no path to overturn an election through force, none, zero. You can play it up all you want but there was zero threat on our democracy on Jan 6th. A bunch of people who felt wronged went to the capital to be heard, some got out of line and they should be dealt with but once again if that many people went there with malice the capital would have been burned to the ground and a lot of people would have been killed. You guys just don't get it. Trump is just a man, of the dozens of my buddies I share political ideology with not one of us even really like Trump the man. We like what he represents, which is an outsider. There is not a politician alive, that I have ever met or followed, that doesn't act in their best interest. The left wants Jan 6th to be more then it actually was. Being from that area I know a ton of people that were at the capital on Jan 6th, not one of them saw anything more then some pushing with police to get through make shift barriers, they went into a building that we all own so their presence could be felt by those that they feel weren't listening. Some idiots got out of control but that is always the case where there are a lot of people and emotions were running high, just like people on your side. The left cannot highlight its policies or accomplishments so they have to keep the coals on this stoked to drum up fear from likeminded people. The horse is dead, there was no avenue at all to overturn an election or overturn the government, you sound stupid, stop speaking when you know what you are saying isn't true.
