32 trillion in debt and 110 billion in savings over 10 years for work requirements. I don't think our politicians are viewing this issue seriously. Just so you know, I support welfare to work type programs. Clinton had one and Bush cut it. It gave them a pathway. I also believe, to whom much is given much will be required. With that said, these folks who may be required to work 80 hours a month are not going to work themselves out of their poverty and any taxes they pay will be returned to them. Politicians could reduce farm subsidies and recoup over half of the welfare program in 1 year versus 110 billion over 10 year. My point is, if politicians are serious, they may need to have a more serious approach to "All Welfare".
