Golf Cart DUI Driver Flips In Seaside

A Tennessee man is charged with DUI after crashing a golf cart Saturday night in Seaside and seriously injuring his passenger.

Colter Schaefer, 19, of Franklin, Tennessee was arrested and charged with DUI.

Florida Highway Patrol states Schaefer attempted a left turn onto Watercolor Boulevard East at a high rate of speed when the golf cart overturned on its passenger side.

The passenger, also from Tennessee, suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Not really. I walk most every morning and pickup tourist trash along the way. With so many county suppled trash containers available along the route I can’t get beyond the disrespect shown towards our area. The worst is the trash thrown over the railing onto the dunes I can’t reach.
