Okay but it is not complicated.
Sometimes the truth is going to hurt. We all makes mistakes. Sometimes they are stupid mistakes. Sometimes you would rather not admit the mistake. Sometimes there will be a price to pay. I know you understand this.
Changing old ways is not complicated. It was not that long ago that women could not own property or vote or do anything but stay home and have babies. Just one example of thousands.
You keep talking about throwing punches. Why? Either it is a conversation or not. When we react instead of reason it is usually not civil. You can do a lot better and so can I.
Here is some truth that may or may not hurt. From the way you "react" in this forum I think you are not being honest with yourself. The guy you support is not good for this country or you. I think you know this but you have gotten caught up in "owning the libs". You have taken it to the level of street fighting and trying to prove that you are a bigger man. I hear that BS on fox news and conservative talk shows and even some from my own family. It makes me sick every time I hear it but I try not to react. I actually want to understand how so many men believe that a politician or a talk show can make you believe that supporting a movement to "own the libs" has any value whatsoever. It does not make you a real man. Kind of the opposite. So here is the truth. We do not live in a world where being left or right makes us a man. It is all a scam made to divide us. There are issues. There are differences of opinions. There is right and wrong. There is truth and lies. Reacting is emotion and truth takes reason...
Being a man can be extremely complicated
Lets say you and the wife are out for dinner
A guy walks up and smacks her on the bottom
What is a man to do?
Do you punch him in the mouth?
Do you ask him why he did it?
Do you make sure shes OK first?
All of the answers are right so which do you go with?
Yes we all make mistakes but admitting them shouldn't be an issue
Making mistakes is just part of the process to be embarrassed or whatever by this means you don't understand this point
Just last week I laid out a set of concrete stairs and did not notice a head room issue above
I had to jackhammer them out and redo them
I have laid out thousands of stairs but I didn't check it
I'm not embarrassed but it is going cost me a pretty penny
All the guys on site wanted me to hide this mistake but I tore them down and am redoing them because it is the right thing to do
Nobody said changing ways is complicated
I said it depends what your talking about
Bringing up stuff from 2 or 3 generations ago is odd because we are in a constant state of improvement
The last paragraph is where you lose me
To say I am not honest with myself just means you have no idea who you are talking to
In order to lie to any of you I would have to care about you
If anything I am too honest in my day to day but you don't know me at all so your judgement is off base and it means nothing to me
To say trump is not good for the country is your opinion
If my choices are trump and biden I go with trump every time, I don't need a saint to read me the gospel
I, nor no one I know cares about owning the libs, they will do that to themselves
I find it funny that the left is the fuel on which trump runs
If your side would just let him slip into the night then he would go away, he feeds on your attention.
I have never felt the need to be the bigger man, I know what I am
I don't like to fight but when someone throws first I enjoy the retaliation through multiplication
Being a man has nothing to do with politics at all
