I read what you type. You type words to tell a story of your beliefs. Many words. Many stories. I am not complaining. You do enough complaining for both of us.
Okay so you and I had the opportunity and good health to work hard and make it to the haves. Let’s pat ourselves on the back! Now Do you believe that everyone had or has the same opportunity and good health to work hard and make it to the haves. Try not to react and think about it for a minute or two. The correct answer is no. Do I need to explain?
Now think about the opportunity we have in this country. Infrastructure. Safety. Education. Healthcare. Protection. Clean air. Clean water. Good food Being white and male also gave you and I opportunity. Do I need to explain that it is more than just hard work that allowed you and I to make it to the haves.
Now think about who you and I will choose to represent us. One had tremendous opportunity and wants even more power. Why? Because someone made a joke? One started out just like you and I plus had a lot of tragedy to overcome. One tells us how great he is every day. One just keeps working to help all of us even those who have less opportunity. One tells us that he is the savior of our American culture yet he knows nothing about us except that we are greedy. One tells us that we need to change and adapt to a more diverse culture. Do I need to explain why it is not about liberal or left or conservative or right. It is about representation of our human values. Yes we are all greedy and it must be checked and balanced with caring and sharing. Our Democracy provides those checks and balances. One candidate is seriously trying to destroy those checks and balances. It is not complicated. It is not a conspiracy. It is a simple truth. Stop and think about your beliefs. Stop listening to the wrong people. Start Thinking without the emotions of anger and fear. No one is coming to take anything from you except the guy you are choosing to represent you.
I couldn't disagree with you more on the haves and have not issue
We all have the same opportunity in America regardless of starting point
To say anything different is an insult to our system
Once you start down the road of white male stuff I will not follow
Once you start with that crap where does it stop?
By doing this you are saying others are less then
You are trying to add training wheels where they are not needed and all that does is hinder your ability to succeed at riding
You really want to help anyone then help them, it really is just that simple
The rub comes because they need to want to succeed and thats usually where the problem lies
You are older then me and we have had different life experiences
How many people have you tried to help and how did they receive it?
For example I work with a lot of guys
Most are brown and a few white guys
The brown guys are usually way more open to learning then the white guys
Now this may be a product of the field I'm in but I think its more then that
I think people born in America are very entitled and they think they have a birth right to success
I'll make a deal with you or anyone reading this
You bring me a person that really wants to succeed and is willing to work hard and I will have them making 6 figures within 3 years
I don't care about race, sex, religion, or anything else
By your comments you are stating that other races or women have a harder time rising in our society
I call BS
