I don't recall exactly how it went down but some state Republicans visited our BCC not too long ago and glad handed them the connector road through the state forest in Seagrove. Seemed like all it took was a little sucking up and some St. Joe schmoozing in Tallahassee for a done deal. There is an interactive map if you scroll down. If you look between Goldsby and E Hewitt you'll see the state forest. Interestingly enough, there does appear to be some sort of gap where the proposed road will go.
