Golf carts are NOT low-speed vehicles.

To vacationers who may be traveling to Walton County for a visit this Labor Day weekend, please learn the rules of the road as it pertains to LSVs. This information could save your life.

A few quick things:
▪️Driver must have a valid drivers license.
▪️Children must be in carseat or booster seat.
▪️Passengers under 18 must wear a seatbelt. ❕
▪️No open containers.
▪️Only allowed on roadways with speed limits 35 MPH or less. ⛔
▪️Not allowed on sidewalks or bike path.
▪️DO NOT DRIVE ON US HIGHWAY 98 OR US 331 S. ‼️
▪️LSVs must have headlights, blinkers, seatbelts, a windshield, valid registration, and MORE and should be treated like a car.
