...north of Eastern Lake Drive. It is the third house north of Eastern Lake on the east side. It's one street to the east of Ryan (aka Summers Edge). It's a popular house, but I'd be surprised if you would have access to the Summers Edge community pools, since it's not part of that development.

The same folks developed both Summers Edge and Chelsea Loop, i think. Chelsea Loop has its own pool, while all the Ryan street houses share a pool. There are less houses on CL, so that pool is a lot quieter.

Summers Edge is really popular for families. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay there.

I live nearby and watched Lemon Drop being built. It must be nice because it's quite popular. It probably rents more weeks out of the year than any other house on Brown Street. It actually faces Eastern Lake Road, and is just across the street from the Chelsea Loop portion of Summers Edge.

If I correctly recall, LemonDrop is owned by a SoWal poster. Seems like I remember checking on LemonDrop for the owner after a storm or two. I really like that area of the beach.

There's a big new yellow house, probably 4 BR, at the corner of Eastern Lake and Brown St., called "Lemon Drop" or something like that. It has its own pool and is directly across from Chelsea Loop, which is sort of Summers Edge South. Check vacationrentals.com.

The beach side of the access that I think you're referring to says it's private. That means it's only for people staying in that particular neighborhood, not every neighborhood on Eastern Lake Road. Our neighborhood has spent tens of thousands of dollars on building and rebuilding our own...

Besides the Eastern Lake access, there is another access immediately west of Summers Edge off Eastern Lake Road. :biggrin:
