random thread - good day

we need another one of these random thoughts threads - so here it its, all about my good day yesterday.....

- i woke up and discovered my tax refund had been posted to my savings account - woo hoo....even tho it will only be there until my credit card bills roll in next month, it looks good for the time being.

- my nephew loved the clothes "my uncle bought me" - hey kid , your uncle only carried them thru the store, i did everything else :blink: for some reason he is obsessed with mr audie...

- as some of you know i couldn't find the check i made out for mr audie's car payment, i had made it out but didn't have the statement yet, so laid it in the bill box (i thought) well, it disappeared, and i was convinced i had put it in with another bill by accident so was just waiting for it to get mailed back to me hopefully. yesterday, i discovered that in all the trips in and out the back door mr audie has been making working on his tv antenna connections outside, it must have blowed the check out of the box and under his chair because that's where i found the check :clap_1:

- and lastly, mr audie and i went for a drive in the car yesterday (alas he wouldn't let me put the top down), and we ended up at the outback and he paid for supper - with his own money !!!!!:clap_1: :clap_1: we got home and he let me go to bed at 9 pm with no fussing - it was a good day !!!!

Yeah, I got my tax return this week too ... that makes for a great week! Yesterday was a great day for me too because I have been working my (I don't know what to say here that's allowed?:confused: ) yeah, that off because we were already slammed and lost three employees last week with one of them being mine.... but alas, yesterday the girl we have been interviewing all week officially accepted our offer. She will be a great fit for our company and it will take a load off me too. When one door closes, it is so great when another opens!:clap_1: I am all for good days!

Whew....... I am so glad she is coming to help you out. You have to spend all those weeks in Abaco in June and somebody has to be workin':clap_1:

Today is Lil' FFF'S (she prefers Lil' BB😀 ) Sweet 16 birthday party! 😱 I can't believe it! We are about to go get manicures, pedi's, make-up and hair done....she is sooooooo excited. The day is absolutely gorgeous and perfrect for her party. We could not ask for more.

oh yeah 😀 i do what everyone says not to:

take out extra from each check so i can be sure to get a refund....i use it as a savings account to pay my visa off each year that i have charged up even tho i say every year i ain't gonna do that any more....

I used to do this before mr. dd came along. And now, he blames me every year that we have to pay--says I don't have enough taken out. :bang:

You know it is better not to let the government use your money during the year but it does hurt when you have to pay. Haven't done ours yet. I don't mess with them .... hubbie does ..... too stressful for me:bang: :pissed: :confused: :pissed: It would drive me to drink more if I did them :drink:

BB, Happy Sweet Sixteen to that girl of yours! Toots, add "tush" to the list. (that's the one I grew up with ;-) ). Audie, I hope you went outside today. It was--is--gorgeous out there. I washed the convertible in the driveway and didn't even freeze my
