random thread - good day

we need another one of these random thoughts threads - so here it its, all about my good day yesterday.....

- i woke up and discovered my tax refund had been posted to my savings account - woo hoo....even tho it will only be there until my credit card bills roll in next month, it looks good for the time being.

- my nephew loved the clothes "my uncle bought me" - hey kid , your uncle only carried them thru the store, i did everything else :blink: for some reason he is obsessed with mr audie...

- as some of you know i couldn't find the check i made out for mr audie's car payment, i had made it out but didn't have the statement yet, so laid it in the bill box (i thought) well, it disappeared, and i was convinced i had put it in with another bill by accident so was just waiting for it to get mailed back to me hopefully. yesterday, i discovered that in all the trips in and out the back door mr audie has been making working on his tv antenna connections outside, it must have blowed the check out of the box and under his chair because that's where i found the check :clap_1:

- and lastly, mr audie and i went for a drive in the car yesterday (alas he wouldn't let me put the top down), and we ended up at the outback and he paid for supper - with his own money !!!!!:clap_1: :clap_1: we got home and he let me go to bed at 9 pm with no fussing - it was a good day !!!!

had another decent day on saturday - i love being off work !

- went to the butcher - i am a meatosaur ! picked up a few groceries
- bought new pillows for the bed,
- took a nice long nap and got laundry done.
- it was sunny in the afternoon, and warmer supposed to be sunny today too !
- the computer and satellite dish both automatically changed for dst, and i got all the clocks changed before bed.

i love the simple life....

Yep, the simple life is good. The only way it could be better is if we had the simple life at the beach. The computers changed all by themselves, I didn't know if they would. 😀

It is gonna be a beautiful day today!! The sun is shining for a change! Even tho it is only 28 degrees out, it will get up to 50. Most of the snow has melted. We noticed the crab trees yesterday have their teensy buds about to burst! Spring is right around the corner (hopefully). We're getting the grill out and hanging the windchimes out today!! Woo hoo!

I had a grayt day yesterday....drove 8 1/2 hours to SoWal...with out incident and had a beautiful sunset viewing with wonderful friends....:wub:
Today is shaping up....:clap_1: It is beautiful here so far! I will go to Rivard and put my down payment on the wash-a-way! The beach is beconing and the Red bar...does anyone know if Dread is playing today at church?:idontno:

Good Morning!
Tax Refund....YES! Deposited on Friday. Then, pay sears in full, get new brakes, oil change, tire rotation yesterday, Pay for new garage door, take car shop for whatever the check engine light is on for (it's always on), go see TayTay, house payment.......it's about gone. Should I go to SanFransisco for a few days? HMMMMMMM.....

2nd random subject...#4 spent last week (Spring Break) in New Orleans working with a church group landscaping the Ponchatrain Baptist Church yard. She had a very memorable experience and definitely wants to go back. I met them on the interstate last night and she is here with me! I will take her back to school today. She is sleeping in and I am deciding whether to go to church without her. Any suggestions? I have one hour to get ready and be there. I never miss....maybe today is the day.:idontno:

Hey Alli, we were writing at the same time. Yes they are playing today! Haven't talked to Jen but I'm sure she'll be there with Rowie and Cale. I'm so jealous and happy for you. Enjoy your visit!!!

i forgot the best part of last night - i got a phone call from a super best friend - who lives in chicago - who is going sowalling with me - who is named linda ;-)

i went down to get my paper this morning - no paper. i got so angry i just saw red, almost had a stroke. immediately stomped into the house and cancelled my subscription. we have been getting the paper for 14 years with no problem. got a new carrier this past year, and it's a crap shoot whether i get a paper or not. :pissed: :pissed: calling and being nice about it hasn't done anything, maybe hitting them in the pocketbook will.

i forgot the best part of last night - i got a phone call from a super best friend - who lives in chicago - who is going sowalling with me - who is named linda ;-)

I love hearing from old friends I haven't talked to in a while... how funn!

That sux.... I recently cancelled mine for the opposite reason. I wanted weekend delivery only and they kept delivering every day. I tried the call and be nice thing too and it didn't work :bang: The girl couldn't understand why I wasn't pleased with getting free papers. It wouldn'tstop, so I just cancelled. I had stack of paper sitting around the house making me :pissed:
