"sept" is Latin for seven. So why is it the ninth month of our calendar? Was J Caesar really that dumb? ...and why did he add an extra day to the month of Sept, which was removed after his death?
And, now, here is Mr. K's all time favorite question and the one that probably got him kicked out of Sunday school...
Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

Ummm...same reason that October, is the 10th month despite "Octo-" being a prefix that means "eight."
WITHOUT THE HELP OF ANY OUTSIDE RESOURCES:
Before our calendar was modified to its current configuration, September WAS the seventh month. In the Roman calander (which was later modified to Julian and then to Gregorian) there were only 10 months.
Stick your aglet in that, SinginChicken!

It depends--what month was your C-section, and how much did the baby weigh? Did you name him (or her) Brutus?
I've never lost a game of Trivial Pursuit, by the way.

I'm horrified that 1) I spelt that wrong, and 2) my spellchecker didn't alert me!

Ummm...is this some sort of symbolic statement? I've always heard it was like shooting a potroast out your nostril or driving a UPS truck through an inner tube.

My cousin just had twins! Fraternal boys!
One baby's first name is after the mother's cousin, uncle, and grandfather and the father's father's middle name. The baby's middle name is after the mother's stepfather and is also the father's middle name.
The other baby's first name is the mother's deceased father's name. It's middle name is the father's father's name and the mother's great uncle's name!
Or put more simply, hello to little John David and Jay Henry!
Hope that helps distract you Kitty!

...I guess it will be ME! Oh, SJ...you and I keep asking these questions that no one can answer. Just like turning on the phone with the off button. I think the Chinese are slowly driving us crazy.

My phone has "talk" and "end," not on and off

That's because it's "on" even when you're not talking!

I can relate. Wesleyfunn was 8 lbs 14 oz, 22 long, and I did not have a c-section. In fact, I got to the hospital too late to get my epidural.
Haven't been quite the same since...

I was over 10lbs, 22 inches and a month late. I am still my mother's favorite.

Even if you don't, odds are you'll get planted when your here.
So the actual random thought would be, is planted the past tense of a night of planters punch?
