I need a Vegan recipe for a potluck. Any tasty suggestions for a hot summer's day?

I had no idea that animal bones are what makes white sugar whiter.

But will it stop you from eating sugar?:idontno:

Not me! I am preparing for the fall season- you know, pumpkin pie. It would be hard to eat one made without sugar.

Wow! This vegan thing sounds like alot of work. You spend all your time researching the food, less time to eat, so... voila, skinny!

I would marinate them overnight and then grill them over medium heat coals. If you want, I have a pretty good bbq sauce recipe you could use.
Are you referring to some particular food?

This thread makes me want to fix bacon for breakfast.
:whack: no talk of bacon on the Vegan thread. It goes against the Vegan principles.

You could do this without the feta. Just garnish with sumpin' else. Maybe roasted sunflower seeds or pine nuts? :idontno: It's from my Sonoma Diet Cookbook. :D I've had the roasted eggplant by itself in strips then marinated with the onions and balsamic dressing. Yummy.

Sorry. I have always found that most (but not all!) people that worry way too much about food need to lighten up. If you have to think about every bite, you are thinking too much to enjoy it at all. Just MHO.

Hmmm.....I've eaten "raw" all morning. Time for a cheeseburger!

YUMMY
Tip
To toast sesame seeds, toss them in a heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat until they are fragrant.
