Where Have You Lived

I am just finding my way around here and everyone has been soooo nice and welcoming. I have been active on other forums, but this is the warmest one I have ever found. I found it by looking for info on the area, since my daughter will be a resident in Jan.

I would love to get to know the regulars better. So if you will indulge me with where you have lived in your life and now.

And I promise I won't show up and try to sell you a vacuum cleaner

I was born in Halls, Tn. population 3000 minus one. ;-)
I lived there until I went to school at UT, go Vols.
Then after graduation I taught school in the Cleveland, TN area for about 8 years.
Moved back to West TN and have been in Memphis, ever since. :bang:

How about the rest of yall?

Husband had a job at the college there for those two years. It was one of those cases where the town and us were a horrible fit for each other in essentially every possible way, and I was naive enough to be surprised at the hostility the locals showed to what they saw as a couple of carpetbagging damn Yankees.
