Seaside and Private Access

New sign on the west end of Seaside. They are not noting that the beach is private, but they are saying the accesses are private. I wonder what they expect non-Seaside guests, who are on the beach to do when they need to use the bathroom, some in the town of Seaside which are public? Can you see someone who really has to go wasting time arguing with a Seaside Security guard? Any thoughts?

Like I need the Fuzz on my back.

Why is it that so many of the threads you post have something to do with the threat of jail for you?

wasn't someone looking for firewood for a bonfire.....,.,:idontno:
Yes, but that pressure treated stuff is proven to cause severe health damage. Hmm, I wonder if someone who collected the fallen sign and removed the now "trash" from the beach, took it home and burned it as firewood, causing health problems to the person who removed it, could file a lawsuit against Seaside and win. Did I mention that I was recently summoned for Jury Duty?

Wow.

Very sad.

But not surprised.

Out with Shades. Out with the Sushi guy. Out with the parking. Post the 'residents only' signs. And now, restrictions on the beach.

The old guard with their vision of a downtown by the beach is out, and the new guard, living at an exclusive, Naples-like resort, is apparently in.[/quote] my thoughts exactly

No, that was not me planting signs yesterday, but I was clearing a path across the street from you, and I have a new sling blade scar on my foot to prove it. Tip of the day -- don't wear sandals in Cotton Mouth territory when operating a sling blade.

I hire peeps to plant signs.

It also appears that Seaside Security (SS) is asleep behind the wheel.

Very nice word play. :funn:

You go, SJ!

Coincidentally, my daughter was telling me about recently watching "The Truman Show" and how the new look of Central Square is so inconsistent with the cottages that surround it (as compared to what was on the square when the movie was filmed). And the beachfront hasn't even been re-done yet. It is architectural chaos there IMO.

I couldn't figure out how to convert the SS into lightning bolts like Hitler's SS Men... (not even on the same level, just playing with words and names.)

:idontno: I guess someone didn't think too highly of Seaside's newest signs. It also appears that Seaside Security (SS) is asleep behind the wheel.

The ratio of sunset photos to the sign photo was really heavy on the sunsets. ;-)

Here is a photo looking in the opposite direction, taken within the same minute as the sign photo.
