Ever since I saw the "friendly" creature at the bottom of the stairs near my car, I carry my Swiffer Sweeper with me when I leave the house. Purse, briefcase, beachbag, Swiffer Sweeper.

:funn:No, it's Sweet Pea who is also fluffing whilst snoring. I need to call Hippie Dude - if he scored some of that rare black turquoise, I might be digging him a little! ;-) Just kidding, he was supposed to pick some up for me and make some jewry! But, honestly he asked me out and I said, "No." Not flatly like that~~~~~~~I'm not mean or cold for goodness sakes!

This was my first storm in Florida, and I've been a bit unnerved by it, thank you guys so much for distracting me, letting me have fun. I hear the storm around me now so I must go check the status. Be safe everybody. Fizzle out quickly, Claudette, you strange storm out of nowhere.

The secret to "weathering" is to put a dvd in the machine and sit back. It is pretty rough out there. Chill: you're going be just fine. When it blows over, be sure to walk the beach, and find the treasures.. you guys are too much funn! (margaritas are medicinal, no doubt):blush::blink:

Well, am glad to see Y'all weathered the storm and hope Claudette has passed with no damage to our lovely 30-A!

Do I get to see in the tent tonight?

True Random Confession.
While waking up early this morning, before I had the strength to lift my eyelids, I was wondering...did the cars float away?... was it a good idea to tie off the john boat to that sad little dead bush?...will Wallygator leave his home from under the washed out dock and reside under my house now?.... and then I heard this noise; "Beep.Beep.Beep." and all my concerns washed away. That beautiful Cuisinart 14-cup coffeemaker indeed had electricity and it was going to be a good day after all.

:funn:What's funnier is we all peter out at a reasonable hour. Then, there's one lone arty goer trying to get the secret code.....kinda' like when Miss Kitty locked herself out of the B&B in ME and had to make secret phones calls to get back inside.

And, speak of the devil, Miss Kitty appears for this arty around 2-5AM (never can tell what time that sassy cat will surface).

Alas! But, nary a confession? :idontno:

"Nary a confession by the lone arty goer"... sounds like a dare to me... and who is this guy, "Arty Goer"? Was he in the tent last night without knowing the secret code?

Well, I experimented with several 3d chat rooms to create our arty tent for real, but I think it would be too complex to get going for everyone interested. I guess our imaginations will have to do! :D

I think she used the dead snake for gator bait! :yikes:

Here is the skinny on the cat if your interested:

Schr?dinger's cat is a thought experiment proposed by the physicist and philosopher Erwin Schr?dinger. It shows how quantum-mechanical indeterminacy at a microscopic level can cause indeterminacy at a macroscopic level. The indeterminacy can be resolved by observation but entails a paradox. Schr?dinger would have us imagine a cat inside a closed box with a tiny bit of a radioactive substance and an apparatus consisting of a Geiger counter, hammer, and flask of cyanide. Over the course of an hour, there is a chance that the radioactive substance might emit an alpha particle, and an equal chance that it might not. If an alpha particle is emitted and hits the Geiger counter, a relay is set in motion whereby the hammer shatters the flask, releasing the gas and killing the cat. Thus, after an hour, there is equal probability of the cat being alive or dead, and an observer can open the box and see which state the cat is in. But until the observation is made, the two possible states, which are mutually exclusive, coexist. In quantum-mechanical terms they are in a condition of superposition. The act of observation changes that, and one state becomes established to the exclusion of the other. In other words, without being observed, the cat does not exist in a particular state at all. It is neither alive nor dead, or it is both alive and dead, depending on how you want to look at it. This thought experiment provides an extreme case of the condition in which small-scale objects always exist. Under the laws of quantum mechanics, electrons, photons, and all other particles are each in a number of superposed states that interact with each other, forming interference patterns, and giving rise to an overall behavior that often seems wavelike. But a measurement made to determine the state that the particle is in destroys the interference patterns and gives rise to different behavior that seems more like that of tiny particles; hence the phenomenon of wave-particle duality. Whether the cat in the box can also be considered an observer in quantum mechanics currently remains unclear.

Thus Lady Chills abstract experimentation into particle physics has come into full fruition with her Swiffer Wave-Particle Duality Wand of Doom! It kills snakes dead...or are they alive?!

Ps. I get all babbley when I am tired! lol ;-)
