Another winter weather advisory here!

Flurries, flurries! Dang cold! Sometimes I forget how cold February can be, but I am sufficiently satisfied with our pretty little One Day Snow. BRING ON SPRING! Daffs have popped up and my Cherry Tree tried to blossom when we warmed up a tad a couple of weeks ago. I always rush Spring~~~~~~~

I always do too. Mr. DD always says the trees are out by St. Patty's-but it always seems they get frosted on. I have to say though that I can't wait to see those little bright green leaves bursting forth.

We drove home yesterday from SoWal and didn't hit any snow until we crossed the Indiana border, and even then it was pretty light. We were lucky!! Over the weekend we had a board meeting at the condo and our board president couldn't even make it from Atlanta because he was snowed in--couldn't even get out of his hilly driveway.

She says she's gonna use the money for a worthy cause. So, I guess it's my duty to beef up the kitty.

The East Coast is supposed to get blasted again by this weekend. We are expecting at least a foot of new snow by Sunday. Whether we get that much is another story. DD, I spoke with a guy yesterday in Grapevine and he said it was starting to snow and he expected 6 inches. Stay warm and safe.

I saw a few "snows" this morning on the way in, but it was nothing like Friday the 12th. From a motorcycle perspective, it was...let's say...interesting. I picked up a little weight on the way home that day!



That's about an inch deep on the nose.



The only part that sucked was when the snow on the windshield got heavy enough to sag across the vent opening. When that happened, it would blow a huge blob through right into my face!
