I agree 100% with all of them but this one...
2. Airplane bathrooms: Never mind the fecal bacteria that’s commonly found on door handles and faucets, the worst part is the tornado of germy particles that’s spewed into the air when you flush the toilet.
Unless you're talking about what may be on the seat and toilet shroud there really isn't a tornado of germs that can happen IMHO. We (Delta) have pneumatic toliets on close to half of our fleet, now. I tell ya what...when you flush those boogers, the rush of air down...not out...down the toilet is so great that you can feel the rush coming under the door. That would be one strong germ to fly out of that vacuum!
All the others use the blue water that swirls so gently down that it doesn't create an aerosol. Besides, it has hydrochloric acid in it.
...and now your useless trivia nuggets...
If you ever had the opportunity to lay toilet paper from a pneumatic toilet down the aisle of an aircraft for a ways and then flush the toilet, it would suck up a distance of close to 15 rows! I don't have to tell you how I know that!
...and there was never an overwieght woman on an American Airlines flight who flushed a pnuematic toilet while seated on it which allegedly glued her to the seat by vacuum until they could land and have a mechanic release her! LOL!
