I have a surprise for you tomorrow night, and it's not beer related. :D

Oh, goody I love surprises!!!!!

It is a beautiful morning in Seagrove Beach. The water is not as clear as it has been, but of course it is still beautiful.

We have a turtle nest on either side of us. How cool is that? I am very glad they were able the find their way to the beach to lay their eggs. For the most part down here the beach has been clear every night. I am thankful for that.

I am looking forward to seeing those who can come for sunset tonight. I was thinking 6:30 or 7:00. You might want to park over in the Seagrove Plaza parking lot, because there isn't a whole lot of parking spaces here at Emerald Hill.

Well I am going to hit the beach. Have a great day!!!!

Had a very nice visit with jfunn, SWGB, and Destinscuba last night. After all the catamaran excitement we sat and talked. SWGB brought some Miller Light (which I was very thankful for because Publix was sold out when I went to stock up). It was a beautiful sunset visit with some very sweet people. Thanks for coming over guys! Don't forget you still have some fish to retrieve! Missed you jdarg!

It is starting out to be another beautiful day in paradise. Have seen 4 dolphins so far this morning, one pretty close in to shore. I so love seeing them. I told Pat that it doesn't matter how many times I see them, I still get excited about it.

So today we will have our "girls day out" this afternoon at Bud & Alley's. We will go over about 3:00 and have a couple of cocktails and visit. Then tonight I will be taking the teenage boys to Elmos for "All you can eat crab legs". Yes, I am so looking forward to this. I promised them.

It has been a magical week as always. It just goes by way too fast!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

We had a blast meeting KDW and the "gang". :D We got to the beach walkover and I realized I had no idea where I was going. Luckily she spotted us and waved us over. We chatted and then of course got distracted by the catamaran. After that her beach staff came to whisk away the chairs and tents.

I'm so looking forward to dinner tonight, nothing like fresh fish. Thanks to Tim! Sunset was a little obscured by the clouds, but still beautiful. We're definitely doing the oyster thing we discussed. I would almost encourage you to go to Bud & Alley's at 2 so you can drink enough to deal with Elmo's.

I will let this thread serve as my trip report with a few things to add.

Elmo's was actually very good. We got there before the crowds and the food was wonderful. I had a dozen oysters and helped the boys eat their crab. Kelly got "Surf and Turf" and it was wonderful. A beautiful ribeye and very good crab cake. As much as I was dreading it, it turned out to be good.

A few highlights:

Dad and Judy being in Grayton.

My special rainy day tent visit from jdarg.
The weather...perfect.

The water...perfect. Except for one "Red Flag day".

Friends...perfect.

Seeing a HUGE Ray fly out of the water and dive back in!!!

Meeting SWGB and Destinscuba.

Seeing my sweet jfunn and Shooter again.

Getting a special delivery from SJ. Still need to tell me where to send the $$. I'll save the Guiness for next time.

Getting a special delivery from Daddy-O..you could have said "hi". ;-) Thank you! They will look very good framed and matted. I will send you a picture when that is done.

Having a special gift waiting for me at the WaterColor store. Thank you! I love it!

Having two turtle nests either side of us.

The week flew by as usual. It was also magical...as usual. Until next year, you can see my pics in MY ALBUM.

KDW------------Who's in charge of time in sowal?

The clocks always run faster there.

Seems like you go to sleep on Monday & you wake up on Friday.

Glad you had a great week. I gotta wait 'til Thanksgiving week.

But you know I get the same feeling of sitting on the beach in Seagrove Beach

while sitting on the edge of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I guess Gods

little creations just does that to you.

Glad you had a great week. :clap:Wish I could have been there for a few beers on The Hill, but our place was rented. Can't wait to see your pics.

Don't you just hate leaving SoWal? Every time I leave, it gets more and more difficult. Being on SoWal.com really helps with the SoWal homesickness.
