It appears that engine compartment pushed in on the Belaire thus instantly killing the dummy. The Malibu engine compartment stayed intact and didn't crush the dummy.

I missed that part of the video. Where did you read that? I thought for sure the death in the 1959 chevy would be from the face plant into the harder than hell steering wheel center.

will you fly in a plastic plane, or an old one with metal fatigue?

Considering the last plane I was on was built circa 1964 I'll stick with tried and true. That and the fact that I usually have to fly Delta so I'm pretty much relegated to antique flying machines. :D

Scare the crap out of your friends with this tidbit:

The year of manufacture is located on the cabin doors frame. Why else do they usher you through that area so fast. ;-)
