Job Summary
The pool attendant(s) is responsible to oversee the Cypress Breeze Plantation pool facility, advise people of pool rules, and assist the HOA with light maintenance around the pool facility.
Schedule
Work will be divided into two or three shifts from 9:30 am – 8:30 pm, 7 days a week, rain or shine, with
coverage during June through August.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and ensure people are aware of pertinent pool rules
• Advises people when rules are not being followed
• Maintains issue log to share with the Community Association Manager (“CAM”) and BOD for
possible compliance actions
• Helps maintain security and an enjoyable experience by confirming with guests, as needed,
residence and whether permanent resident or renter
• Assists with set up and placement of furniture at beginning of day and as needed throughout the day
• Reports any significant safety or pool operation issues in a timely manner to the CAM.
• Light cleaning – picking up trash and items left behind by guests

• Must have the ability to work as a team member
• Follows safety procedures and helps maintains a safe environment
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Hospitality industry experience and familiarity with 30a area a plus
• Lifeguard or lifesaving certification not a component of job
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
• Standing and working for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions
• Walk and climb stairs
• Capable of moving chairs, umbrellas and other pool related items weighing less than 25 lbs.
