Sueshore said:Okay....so maybe eating that glacier ice wasn't such a good idea after all. I was a bit sick yesterday and had to bail on the fishing trip.No telling what was in that ice...it's 1,000 of years old!!! It also could just be my body screaming for me to stop eating. But, sarafunn caught the first and biggest fish! They caught Silver Salmon and something called Chum. Mr. K is having it processed and some of it smoked for our dining pleasure back in Texas. I stayed onboard and watched the waater airport right outside the window....seaplanes taking off and landing all day long! Ketchikan was a very picturesque town.
We are sailing the Inside Passage today on our way south to Vancouver, where we get off and fly back to the heat. Right now all I see is open water, but there should be some more beautiful scenery later. MS said the other day that everytime you look out the window it looks like a calendar picture! He is correct that you can never get bored here looking outside.
I am off for a facial and then hitting the slots! They are open all day since we are sailing. I am such a possible gambling addict...once I put that money in the machine is just play money!![]()
I'm sorry you didn't feel well Miss Kitty, it sounds like you're up and going again however. :clap_1: You'll be coming home tomorrow, right? Be sure and strip down to your drawers before exiting the plane in Dallas, otherwise you may suffer heatstroke after being on ice for the past week or so!
